About this project
QuEzBank is a web platform that connects two groups of people: the teachers who create exam-prep material and the students who study from it. It works like a marketplace. Teachers — often experienced instructors and subject experts — build their own study sets of practice questions and mock exams, then offer them for sale. Students browse that marketplace, pick the highest-rated sets that match their target exam, and combine material from different teachers into a study plan built around their own goals and exam date. As they study, a personal dashboard tracks their progress, highlights their strong and weak areas, and gives them a readiness estimate so they always know where they stand. It started with medical board exams but is designed to support any professional, college, or certification exam.
The problem
Preparing for a professional licensing exam is high-stakes and stressful, and the tools students rely on are scattered and one-size-fits-all. Good practice material is hard to find, spread across separate apps, and rarely tailored to a student's specific exam or weak spots. At the same time, the experienced teachers who could create the best material have no simple way to package it, price it, and reach students directly. QuEzBank closes both gaps. It gives teachers an easy way to turn their expertise into study sets they can sell, and it gives students one trusted place to find that material, shape it into a plan that fits their goals, and actually see whether they're on track — instead of studying blindly and hoping for the best.
Key features
For teachers and instructors
- A simple builder for creating practice quizzes and full mock exams from their own bank of questions.
- Several question styles to choose from — multiple choice, "select all that apply," type-in answers, and image-based questions where students click the right spot on a diagram.
- Support for images and audio, so teachers can add things like X-rays, diagrams, or heart and lung sounds — and even hide parts of an image for students to identify.
- Bulk upload from a spreadsheet, so a whole set of questions can be added at once instead of one at a time.
- An optional AI helper that turns a PDF or photo of notes into draft questions, which the teacher reviews before anything goes live.
- A built-in review step on every question, so nothing inaccurate ever reaches students.
- Flexible pricing — offer the same study set as a day pass, a week, a month, or permanent access, each at its own price.
- Direct payouts, with sales going straight to the teacher's own payment account and the platform taking only a small share.
For students
- One marketplace to browse, compare, and pick the highest-rated study sets for their exam.
- The freedom to mix and match material from different teachers into a single personalized plan.
- A custom quiz builder for focusing on specific topics or weak areas.
- Access for as long as they need it — a day, a week, a month, or forever — depending on how close the exam is.
- Two ways to study: a relaxed practice mode with instant explanations, or a timed mode that feels like the real test.
- A personal dashboard showing scores, strong and weak topics, and how they're improving over time.
- A clear readiness estimate that shows how prepared they are for their target exam and date.
- Smart daily reviews that bring questions back right before they're likely to be forgotten, so studying actually sticks.
- Streaks, points, and achievements to stay motivated — with a "grace day" so one missed day doesn't undo their progress.
- Goal-based study paths built around the exam and date they're aiming for.
